Continued Quality Leadership for Arise Chiropractors

In the past 3 years, 9 Arise contracted Chiropractors have earned national recognition with The National Committee for Quality (NCQA). The Back Pain Recognition program (BPRP) identifies providers who have met standards demonstrating delivery of superior care to those who suffer with low back pain. Earning the BPRP is open to MDs and other Physicians. It is difficult to earn and only 27 physicians in Wisconsin have earned it, most are associated with the Medical College of Wisconsin.

“Evidence-Based guidelines have shown that a ‘less is more’ philosophy is the right approach to treating low back pain,” said NCQA President Margaret E. Kane. “The Back Pain Recognition Program identified providers who avoid needless imaging and procedures that don’t help patients. By earning recognition, providers demonstrate that they consistently provide evidence-based care to their patients with low back pain.”

“It is an honor to work with a panel of Chiropractors so dedicated to quality!” says Kevin Pursel, Arise’s Director of Chiropractic Services. “Not only does it demonstrate that Arise’s panel of chiropractors practice quality care, but that Arise knows how to choose quality chiropractors in general.”
